Each quilt is made by clients in the Department of Psychiatry Vocational Rehabilitation Services at San Francisco General Hospital.
Due to their illnesses, clients have faced hospitalizations hindering their ability to work in the community. VRS aims to engage clients from various outpatient programs in activities that will foster productive use of their time, explore their work as an expression of personal creativity, and provide them with a supportive environment to develop these skills.
